From a young girl in Huntsville, Alabama, to a trailblazing educator and entrepreneur, Sylva Williams has been shaping the beauty industry one brushstroke at a time. A 2002 graduate of Lee High School, Sylva’s passion for cosmetology led her to Dudley Beauty College in North Carolina, where she earned her Cosmetology and Salon Management license in 2004. She further honed her craft at the Paul Mitchell Excel Academy in Hoover, Alabama, achieving her cosmetology instructor license in 2007.

In 2011, Sylva opened Mane Strokes Salon Spa, a haven for beauty and creativity that has flourished for over a decade. With more than 16 years of teaching experience in the Huntsville City and Madison County school systems, Sylva’s dedication to education has been a cornerstone of her career. She’s worked with top luxury brands like Lancôme, MAC, Dudley’s, and Paul Mitchell, mastering advanced techniques in makeup, skincare, and hair artistry. Her talents have graced editorial magazines, hair shows, and production sets as a creative director and platform artist.

Now, Sylva brings her wealth of experience and passion to Mane Strokes Academy. This innovative school is dedicated to elevating the beauty industry by focusing on professionalism, business development, and cutting-edge cosmetology techniques. Through her academy, Sylva continues to inspire the next generation of beauty professionals to reach new heights and leave their mark on the world.
